Felt like doodling a pink dress~

Work in progress of a digital painting that is actually not a Disney princess! It’s of dancing marionettes inspired by this year’s Macy’s window. I just HAD to draw my own version of those very fashion forward steampunk dolls!

A work in progress of the next Disney princess drawing. Just finished the sketch, and now it’s time to color! You can keep an eye out for the complete version soon on my Deviantart. I’m a fan of the later Disney princesses (Mulan and Rapunzel being my favs), so I’ve been saving those 5 for later and wanted to draw the 5 classic princesses first. Please let me know which Disney princess you’d like to see next!

Just a quick sketch of Max giving Ryan a hug. I wanted to draw my BlueStreak characters in a different style.

Pretty self-explanatory…a virtual tour of my office. It’s much more spacious when there aren’t words and arrows all over the place. This is also only half of it. On the other side is Jack Sparrow #3 and #4 and other stuff that’s necessary to get work done every day (: My wall is constantly rearranged and updated with things that inspire me;

I’m working on a series of Disney princess digital paintings merely as coloring practice. This “practice” has turned into something so fun, I’m super glad to do this. Just finished a drawing of Belle, so here is princess #2, Ariel. This dress is based on the WDW Ariel costume. I love that blue dress, and I really didn’t want to have to color the pink one…I want her red hair to really stand out in this when I color it.

Storyboard for work in progress project. Alec is always on the run, and manages to get himself into trouble an awful lot!
So as you all now by now, I’m working on a Renaissance fantasy comic project. (Think Majesty, but funnier and in color!) My princess character, Catherine, has been a challenge because I couldn’t decide on a suitable hair style for her. I have many old posts agonizing over this.
Solution? I grabbed a pair of scissors and started cutting my own hair, and decide to base Cat’s hair on my actual results. So now it’s short and choppy in front and very long in the back…And Catherine’s hair style has finally been designed! Ta-da!

(Yes, I decorate my cell phone with stickers…and I do my own French manicures~)

Just doodled the BlueStreak boys, Ryan and BC, with their pets Legato and Max. Looking forward to coloring this. I’d like to try a more painterly technique on this one…
…is over. It was fantastic meeting so many exceptionally talented artists. I only got to spend a few hours there on Sunday, but it was worth the trip! I didn’t take many photos due to lack of time, and it was just too crowded to stop and snap pics. So I’ll just post some recent doodles here instead.
